Not Seen, Not Gone - Signal Unstable
There are days when everything seems to work.
You answer messages.
Open windows.
Hear sounds.
Move through the day like everyone else.
But somewhere inside, the signal starts crackling.
Not loudly.
Just slightly.
Like your thoughts are no longer staying in one place.
They arrive in groups.
Out of order.
Without a clear voice.
..I should do something
..why did I say that two days ago
..I think I forgot something
And none of those thoughts are big enough to stop the day.
But together, they are enough to make the inside of your head stop feeling quiet.
Then a strange feeling appears.
You are still functioning.
But at the same time, something feels slightly delayed.
Like reality is loading slower than it should.
Humans usually call this stress.
Exhaustion.
Too much going on.
Maybe sometimes they are right.
But sometimes it feels like the problem is not tiredness.
Just too many signals at once.
And not enough silence to understand which one actually matters.
Then you begin missing not rest.
But a place inside your head
where nothing is trying to speak at the same time.
