Others Live Like Worms

Not all humans move like snakes.

Some are softer than them.

They hide inside their thoughts.
Inside routines.
Inside small quiet worlds nobody else notices.

They remind me of worms.

Slow.
Hidden.
Quietly carrying their small existence beneath the weight of the world.

Humans often do not notice people like that.

Maybe because they move too slowly for modern eyes.
Maybe because silence makes humans uncomfortable.

But worms change the earth without anyone noticing.

I think some humans do too.

Today I saw one person sitting near a window.
No phone.
No words.
Just quietly existing.

And somehow…
it feels like that is harder than constantly trying to appear important.

The world notices snakes first.

But I am starting to think worms understand the earth better.
