The Real Problem With Socks
Humans worry about strange things.
This morning the little human
stood for a long moment
looking at his socks.
One was blue.
The other… definitely not.
He sighed
as if something serious
had happened.
But from the corner
I had a different thought.
Surely wearing mismatched socks
cannot be the real problem.
The real problem
would be not finding them
at all.
Corners teach
a simple rule:
Better a strange pair
than no pair.
Humans forget this.
They try to match everything.
Clothes. Colors. Plans.
Even days.
But Fridays, I suspect,
were never meant
to match perfectly.
